Yves Cuilleron Marsanne

The white grape varietal Marsanne grows in France’s Northern Rhône region, where it is used to make full-bodied, low-acidity wines with relatively high alcohol and peach, citrus, honeysuckle, almond and floral aromas. Most Marsannes and Marsanne-based blends are designed to drink young, but some premium bottlings from the Northern Rhône can improve for up to a decade. Marsanne is also grown in the South of France, where it may be blended with Viognier, and in Australia, Switzerland and California.
