Petrolo Inarno

Inarno is a collaborative project between Petrolo and 10-15 neighboring growers in the area of Val d’ Arno di Sopra. There is tremendous old vine Sangiovese here that, in many instances, suffers the fate of being blended with inferior grapes and wines into generic Chianti. Essentially, Inarno is a wine at the price of an “industrial” product produced with the criteria of an authentic hand-crafted wine, thanks in part to the stregnth of many small producers willing to give Petrolo their grapes, aware that a product like this can only enhance the reputation of the newly created DOC.
