The Monteru Rare Sauternes Cask Finish French Brandy comes from the exclusive Rare Cask range of the renowned Maison Monteru from western France, which has been awarded many prizes at international spirits competitions for its high quality brandies. The brandy, which is double-distilled by hand and in the small batch process in traditional copper stills, is a special edition that is only available in limited quantities. It was stored for a period of at least 6 months in traditional oak barrels and then subjected to a finish in barrels with a capacity of 225 liters, which come from the south of the Bordeaux region and were topped with fine Sauternes wine. The result is a grandiose brandy with a multifaceted character and wonderful aromas of stone fruits.
