Joao Portugal Ramos Vinho Verde Lima

This Vinho Verde is named for the legendary Lima River that originates in Ourense, Spain. Pale lemon yellow in color with aromas of lemon, lime, and laurel with subtler notes of green apple and minerality. On the palate the wine is elegant and engaging with mouth-filling flavors of citrus fruits, juicy green apple, and crisp pear with a zesty acidity that leads to a good long finish. Pair this wine with shellfish, ceviche, and grilled chicken salad, or just enjoy it as an easy-to-drink white wine. (Not sparkling)
