Made in the Lodi region, this wine combines so of the best grapes in the state of California. Blending a wine is truly an artform as the line between a delicious wine and a bad wine is incredibly thin.
This wine has a deep ruby color with a rich hue. In the bouquet you will find good varietal character reminiscent of a Cabernet Sauvignon or a rich Cabernet Franc with hints of toast coming from oak integration. In the mouth you will discover a wonderful expression of fruit flavors ranging from dark ripe plum to black berry and cherry.
The wine is medium body and the flavors lingers for long after you have enjoyed the sip. In the finish you discover soft and ripe tannins and spice. Enjoy this with a deep‐dish pizza with lots of good red sauce and cheese. On a slightly more fine‐dining experience, perhaps this wine would go well with lamb shank with a peppercorn sauce.
